This Privacy Policy describes how Vera Healthcare Florida LLC, operating as Vera Assisted Living, collects and handles information when you visit vera-alf.com or any subdomain we operate (the "Site"). We collect only what we need to respond to your inquiries and keep the Site secure.

• Tour requests and contact forms. When you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred community, and any message you include.
• Email correspondence. If you write to us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard request data: IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp. This data is used for security and uptime monitoring.
• Cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We may use a small number of functional cookies necessary for the Site to operate (for example, remembering your preference on a banner).
• Analytics. If we use analytics in the future (e.g., a privacy-preserving service), we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out where required.

3. How we use information

• To respond to tour requests and inquiries;

Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard practice, typically up to thirty (30) days.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing.

• Florida and other U.S. residents: Email hq@vera-alf.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and a description of what you would like.
• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You may request disclosure of categories of personal information collected, request deletion, and request that we not sell or share your information. We do not sell personal information.
• EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Our lawful basis for processing inquiries is legitimate interest or your consent.

We will respond to verifiable requests within the time periods required by applicable law.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
